Planning a wedding can definitely be one of the most stressful events of your life. Today there are so many options and each bride likes something of everything. I too wish there was a way of getting it all in just one go.

However if money is no problem, then there are celebrity wedding dress designers out there who will make this wish come true and give you something to love for the rest of your life and others something to envy.

The following seven designers are known for high fashion and the quality gowns that they make. They are some of the top wedding dress designers in the world. Celebrities and socialites alike visit these stores and leave with the perfect gown. While these dresses may be expensive, they are every bride's dream come true.

1. Oscar de la Renta
Originally from the Dominican Republic, Oscar studied and worked with many fashions houses in France. He started his own label in 1965 and since then has been creating bridal gowns that are both luxurious and elegant. Jenna Bush wore his gown down the aisle along with many others.

2. Vera Wang
Vera Wang creates gowns that set trends for the rest of the bridal industry. Vera Wang got her start in the industry in 1989 when she was planning her own wedding. She didn't like any of the gowns so she decided to create her own and in 1990 opened her own bridal salon. Stars that have worn her gowns on their wedding day include Chelsea Clinton, Mariah Carey, Victoria Beckham, Avril Lavigne.

3. Amsale
Amsale Aberra was born in Ethiopia but attended school in Massachusetts. In order to save money while in college she started sewing her own clothing. This hobby soon turned into a passion and she moved to New York in order to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology. What sets an Amsale gown apart from others is the quality of the material, craftsmenship, and the ability to take a classic and add modern features. Anna Paquin wore a gorgeous Amsale gown in the movie The Romanics.

4. Reem Acra
As a student at the American University in Lebanon, a fashion editor discovered Acra. She attended school in Paris and New York and her career officially took off in 1997 when she launched her bridal line. In contrast to other top designers, Acra offers ornate gowns that have intricate beadwork. She has designed gowns and dresses for Catherine-Zeta-Jones, Beyonce Knowles, and Angelina Jolie.

5. Monique Lhuillier
Lhuillier was born in the Philippines but went to a Swiss boarding school and eventually went to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. She launched her collection in 1996 and has designed gowns for Heidi Montag, Britney Spears, Sarah Gore, Carrie Underwood, and Kristen Bell. Lhuillier knows how to use classic elements and combine it with a sexy appeal that's fashion forward.

6. Oleg Cassini
Cassini was raised in Italy and got his introduction into fashion by his mother Marguerite who worked as a fashion designer. Cassini went on to earn numerous fashion competitions and eventually moved to America. He designed dresses for Jacqueline Kennedy and Grace Kelly.

7. Sophia Tolli
Sophia had an informal introduction and education in regards to fashion design but eventually became the head designer for Maggie Sottero. She created and launched her own collection which made her an award winner particularly in fit and construction. She makes dresses that fit into the two categories soft classic romanticism and traditional bridal drama.
