Sweater fair isle-style is alpaca perfect

Alpaca is my friend. When I was a baby, my woobie was made of luxurious alpaca knits, and I've gravitated towards anything and everything alpaca ever since. This Peruvian Connection sweater fair isle - styled has the softness of my woobie, but in an adult, fashionably elegant and colorful style.

I've always had a soft spot for Alpacas. They're like Llamas, only not. Alpacas are just a bit smaller and lighter with cute little sheep-like heads, and wool that is even finer than the lama's coat. Besides the fact that Alpacas produce one of the world's finest and most luxurious natural fibers that are as soft as cashmere and warmer, lighter and stronger than wool, Alpacas are downright adorable. Every time I run my fingers over this Alpaca fair isle sweater it's like I'm in a virtual petting zoo of Alpacas, minus the smell. Plus, I feel like royalty whenever I wear my Alpaca since garments crafted from their fleece was once reserved exclusively for Incan royalty.

That's me, the Alpacan princess.

DID YOU KNOW? Alpacas are found mostly in Peru, Chile and Bolivia, and are considered clean, intelligent, peaceful animals that are a pleasure to be around … and they always bring great wine when invited to dinner parties.
