During the summer you can wear a tee on its own (although it may be a good idea to wear some pants) and during the winter you can wear it under a jacket or piece of knitwear. However, you should avoid tees with humorous slogans or messages to avoid offending someone or looking like a tool. Good tees can be picked up at no great expense and are available in literally thousands of different colors and styles.
A good quality, long sleeved buttoned shirt is unbeatable at formal occasions – especially if tucked in with a smart belt. During the summer, you may prefer to opt for a short sleeved shirt for comfort. Of course, shirts can be worn under knitwear as we’ve already mentioned. Try to avoid loud colors or eye-catching designs, though, as that can often give off completely the wrong impression.
